Wholehearted prayer causes things to change. We also are changed as we pray. The ultimate plan of God is that we all be changed from glory to glory into the fullness of the stature of Christ. That is why prayer is a core value of Shining Light Church.

Fresh Start

Sometimes, all you need is a fresh start and not to dwell in the past. Whether you want to put your faith in Jesus for the very first time, or renew your commitment to him, it’s never too late.
We’re here to help you start or restart your relationship with Jesus. Just follow the simple steps below.

Step 1
Pray to God
Say this prayer out loud, believe it in your heart, and you will start or restart your relationship with God.
“Father, I’m sorry for my sins. I believe Jesus died to forgive my sin, and I receive that forgiveness. Jesus, I make You my Lord. I believe that You are alive, and that You now live in me. I am saved. I am forgiven. Thank You, Jesus!”

Step 2
Get Baptised.
Baptism is an important way to publicly express your faith in Jesus. We offer baptism in SLC.
